Walking around the paths of Erice … looking for the right path!

The paths of Erice are a real corner of paradise, where anyone can give a nice walk between nature and ancient walls of the medieval village. One of the many “treasures” of Monte.

Erice offers a series of itineraries that fully satisfy the visitor:

1st long itinerary (total duration 3h) Departure Porta Trapani – Cathedral and Tower of Frederick II – Balio Gardens – Castle of Venus – Torri del Balio – Torretta Pepoli – Church of San Giovanni – Spanish Quarter – Walls Elimo-Puniche – Piazza Umberto I – Museum Center A. Cordici – Chiesa of St. Peter – Center E. Majorana – Church of San Carlo – Church of San Giuliano – Church of San Martino – Ruins of SS Salvatore – Arrival at Porta Trapani.

2nd short itinerary (total duration 2h) Departure Porta Trapani – Cathedral and Tower of Frederick II – Balio Gardens – Castle of Venus – Torri del Balio – Torretta Pepoli – Church of San Giovanni – Church of San Giuliano – Church of San Carlo – Center E. Majorana – Church of San Pietro – Piazza Umberto I – Museum Center A. Cordici – Church San Martino – Ruins SS Salvatore – Arrival Porta Trapani – Spanish Quarter (reachable by car). The Path of Sant’Anna is a short itinerary in line that starts from the station of the ovovia (43 m) and reaches Porta Trapani to Erice historical center.

The Path of Porta Castellamare is instead a ring itinerary, of great naturalistic and historical-cultural interest
